Osiria Stay Guide: Gijang Coast Hotels

October 27, 2026|by TripKorea Team

Osiria brings resort hotels and apartment-style residences together on Busan’s Gijang coast, with Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and a cluster of leisure attractions shaping the stay. This Osiria stay guide compares five places for an east Busan break, separating the Ananti resorts from the residence complex rather than treating every Gijang address as the same neighborhood. Choose this coast when the accommodation and nearby outings are part of the itinerary, not simply a place to sleep between citywide sightseeing trips.

Choosing a Base on the Osiria and Gijang Coast

The main accommodation decision is resort time versus residence space. Ananti at Busan Cove and Ananti at Busan Village have separate names, addresses and arrival points on Gijanghaean-ro. Their restaurants and leisure facilities give a reason to leave time at the property itself. Compare the specific hotel and room package, rather than assuming that an Ananti booking opens every facility across the wider development.

NewCZ Osiria Residence, Y COLLECTION by UH FLAT OSIRIA and MATIE Osiria occupy the same broader Switzen MATIE development in Sirang-ri. NewCZ and UH FLAT both give 17 Dongbusangwangwang 7-ro as their address, while Hanwha identifies MATIE’s site as 736 Sirang-ri. These are different accommodation operators, not three different coastal districts: room configuration, reception arrangements and included services matter more than any supposed geographic advantage between them.

Visitors on the sand and in shallow water at Songjeong Beach, southwest of Osiria

Songjeong Beach, shown above, is a separate outing rather than the frontage of these residences. It adds a sandy-beach option to a stay that otherwise revolves around rocky coast, resort grounds and attractions. Do not interpret an ocean-facing room photograph as evidence of a private beach, direct beach access or an uninterrupted sea view from every room; reserve the named view category if that is important.

Haeundae makes a different proposition, with a central beach district, dining streets and Metro Line 2 access. Osiria is the more focused choice when your plans revolve around the Gijang coast, Lotte World Adventure Busan or time at a resort or residence. If most days begin with cross-city trips and end back in Haeundae, compare a Haeundae base before committing to additional journeys. This guide stays with Osiria and its immediate resort coast; inland Jeonggwan and more distant Gijang hotels are not substitutes for that location.

Transport: Donghae Line Connections and the Last Mile

Osiria Station (오시리아역) is on the Donghae commuter railway, not Busan Metro Line 2. The line links Osiria with Songjeong, BEXCO and the wider Busan rail network. A rail connection gets you into the district, but it does not put you at every hotel lobby. Keep the station-to-property leg separate in your arrival plan, especially when carrying luggage or arriving after an attraction visit.

From Busan Station after a KTX or SRT arrival, Hanwha’s MATIE directions use Metro Line 1 to Busan National University of Education, also labelled Kyodae, then the Donghae Line to Osiria. From Gimhae Airport, one published option uses the Busan–Gimhae Light Rail to Sasang, Metro Line 2 to BEXCO and the Donghae Line onward. These are transfer routes, not direct airport or KTX services to the resort coast; check the current route and departure times for your arrival day.

For the final leg, use the exact operator name and its arrival instructions rather than only the development’s street address. UH FLAT publishes self-check-in instructions and a reception location in Building 101, while NewCZ identifies its lounge on the first floor of Building 203. Confirm where you should go before the taxi leaves, and retain the Korean hotel name and check-in message. Shared buildings do not mean shared reception desks or interchangeable access instructions.

Seafront boardwalk with tourist railway and elevated capsule guideway on the Mipo–Songjeong coastal corridor

The coastal railway scene above illustrates the Mipo–Songjeong walking and sightseeing corridor, not Osiria commuter station. The Haeundae Beach Train and Sky Capsule are visitor attractions along that coastal corridor; they are not a replacement for the Donghae Line to Osiria. Keeping the two rail systems distinct makes it easier to combine a Songjeong excursion with a Gijang stay without planning an impossible direct ride to the hotel.

Local buses can cover parts of the district: Visit Busan describes a connection from Osiria Station’s Exit 1 toward Haedong Yonggungsa, followed by an approach on foot. Confirm the current stop and service before boarding rather than applying an old route to every property. A taxi or arranged transfer may fit luggage-heavy arrivals, but choose it against the actual destination and traffic conditions. No single walking time or fare applies to all five hotels, and the station location alone should not be used to describe a hotel as walkable.

Nearby Outings: Temple, Coast and Osiria Attractions

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple (해동용궁사) gives this coast a clear sightseeing anchor at 86 Yonggung-gil. Its halls and stone terraces sit beside the sea rather than in a mountain valley. The approach includes stairs, so consider mobility needs separately from the ease of reaching the area by car or bus. Keep voices low around the halls and treat the visit as a religious-site visit, not simply a hotel photo stop.

The Osiria Coastal Walk offers another way to spend time beside the water, with resting points and sections through pine trees. It is a public-area outing in Sirang-ri, not proof that each hotel has a private coastal path or beach. Check the actual access point and conditions locally before setting off; a coastal address does not establish a continuous pedestrian route between your room, the temple and every attraction.

Lotte World Adventure Busan, Skyline Luge Busan, Lotte Premium Outlet Dongbusan and IKEA are the attraction and shopping cluster associated with Osiria Station in Visit Busan’s itinerary. Pick the places that justify staying here, then leave time to return to your accommodation rather than fitting every venue into one day. Attraction admission is a separate decision from the hotel booking unless your chosen package explicitly includes it. Outlet shopping should not be confused with a promise of tax-free eligibility for every purchase.

For a beach outing, Songjeong provides sand, seafront restaurants and a connection to the Mipo–Songjeong walking corridor. It remains a separate destination from the residence complex and the two Ananti hotel entrances. A workable stay can pair a temple or attraction visit with an unhurried afternoon at the accommodation, rather than repeatedly crossing between the coast and central Busan. Decide where to eat before returning for the evening, and check the operating restaurant or self-catering arrangements relevant to your booking.

Osiria Stay Guide: Five Hotels and Residences

The following options answer different accommodation needs rather than form a numbered league table. Compare the residence operators for layout and arrival arrangements, and the Ananti hotels for the particular resort experience you intend to book. Review scores are comparison signals, not guarantees of a room view, included meals or access to a photographed pool.

NewCZ Osiria Residence

NewCZ Osiria Residence living and dining room with pale furnishings and sea-facing windows

NewCZ’s two-bedroom terrace-suite category brings a separate living room and two bathrooms to the residence side of Osiria, making layout the reason to consider it for travelers sharing an apartment. A guest fitness center and luggage-storage lounge add practical support, while city-view and ocean-view categories need to be distinguished at reservation rather than inferred from the photograph.

Its Agoda rating is 9.2/10 from 1,722 verified reviews; use the actual bedroom arrangement and occupancy terms to judge whether the space fits your party. Compare NewCZ Osiria suite options

Ananti at Busan Cove

Ananti at Busan Cove outdoor pool terraces above the rocky Gijang coastline

At 268-32 Gijanghaean-ro, Ananti at Busan Cove is the separate Cove hotel, not Ananti at Busan Village or the membership accommodation elsewhere in the wider development. The Cabin S category includes a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower, with ocean-view and forest-view choices that call for attention to the exact room label.

Rated 8.8/10 from 9,686 verified Agoda reviews, Cove suits a room-and-resort stay, but the pool photograph should not be read as a promise that every water facility is included. View Ananti at Busan Cove rooms

Ananti at Busan Village

Ananti at Busan Village white tower and landscaped outdoor swimming pools

Ananti at Busan Village has its own arrival address at 267-7 Gijanghaean-ro, so send that full hotel name to your driver rather than asking simply for Ananti. Restaurant choices and swimming facilities make it a resort-led alternative to Cove, but the particular dining venue, room category and water-facility entitlement should be checked against your reservation.

Its 8.8/10 Agoda rating comes from 2,146 verified reviews; compare the Village booking on its own terms rather than assuming Cove’s room layouts or access rules apply here. Check Ananti at Busan Village availability

Y COLLECTION by UH FLAT OSIRIA

Y COLLECTION by UH FLAT OSIRIA sitting room with a cream sofa and coastal outlook

Y COLLECTION by UH FLAT OSIRIA combines residence-style rooms with microwave and basic kitchenware provision, a useful distinction for travelers planning some simple meals around coast and attraction visits. Luggage storage supports arrival-day plans, while the operator’s self-check-in system means the check-in message and assigned building matter more than finding a conventional hotel lobby.

With an Agoda score of 8.9/10 from 8,123 verified reviews, it is an operator comparison within the same development as NewCZ, not a move to another Osiria neighborhood. Explore UH FLAT Osiria room choices

MATIE Osiria

MATIE Osiria coastal high-rise with illuminated rooftop at dusk

MATIE Osiria is Hanwha’s hotel option in the same Sirang-ri development, with the BookStay reading space and an upper-floor indoor pool giving it a different service proposition from the residence operators. Check the pool’s current opening and closure arrangements and your booking entitlement directly, rather than assuming another operator’s room at the same address includes MATIE facilities.

Its Agoda rating is 8.7/10 from 2,883 verified reviews, and it fits travelers choosing hotel facilities over the self-check-in residence approach. Review MATIE Osiria rooms and conditions

How to Choose Your Coastal Stay

Start with the room, not the photograph of the grounds. For a shared residence, check the bedroom count, bathroom arrangement, beds and permitted occupancy together. NewCZ’s named two-bedroom category provides one clear starting point, while UH FLAT’s kitchenware and self-check-in arrangements support a different arrival and meal routine. Neither the property name nor the word residence establishes identical equipment in every category, so match the room description to your actual needs.

For a resort break, compare Cove and Village as two bookings. Establish which entrance you will use, which room view you are reserving and which facilities are part of the selected rate. A restaurant on the property does not make breakfast inclusive, and a pool image does not establish unrestricted or year-round swimming access. If water facilities are central to the trip, confirm age rules, session arrangements, maintenance closures and any additional charge before committing.

Then test the location against the rest of the itinerary. A Gijang-focused stay can avoid returning to Haeundae after each coastal visit, while a citywide schedule may make the extra connections less worthwhile. Keep departure-day travel in mind as well as arrival: the roomier residence or resort facilities still have to fit your route back to Busan Station or the airport. Compare the full booking and transport commitment, not just the nightly room headline.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Osiria a suitable place for a first Busan stay?

It suits a first visit built around the Gijang coast, a resort break or Osiria’s leisure attractions. It is not automatically the most convenient base for sightseeing across Busan. Compare Haeundae if beach-district dining and Metro Line 2 access matter more than time at the accommodation.

Can I reach Osiria hotels by train?

The Donghae Line serves Osiria Station, with connections through the Busan rail network. You still need to plan the final leg to your particular property. The Beach Train and Sky Capsule on the Mipo–Songjeong coast are separate sightseeing services, not trains to these hotel lobbies.

Are Ananti at Busan Cove and Ananti at Busan Village the same hotel?

No. Cove gives 268-32 Gijanghaean-ro as its address, while Village gives 267-7 Gijanghaean-ro. Check the full hotel name, room category and included facilities before booking or arranging arrival.

Do the Osiria residences share one reception?

Do not assume so. NewCZ and UH FLAT publish different lounge or reception locations within the same broader development, and UH FLAT uses self-check-in. Follow the arrival message for the operator you booked rather than another hotel name at the same street address.

Does an Osiria booking include a sea view or pool access?

Only the room description and package terms can establish that. Views vary by category, and facilities may have access conditions or closures. A sea-facing photograph or a shared development address is not a substitute for confirmation from your booked operator.

Plan Your Gijang Coast Stay

Use the Gijang hotel collection to compare the wider district, keeping the exact address in view because not every Gijang property is on this coast. For a different base, compare Haeundae hotels; for outings, explore Busan activities alongside the accommodation. Return to this Osiria stay guide when weighing resort facilities against residence space, and book the operator and room category that match the coast-focused trip you intend to take.
